WHAT IS ENVIROTHON?

Envirothon is a natural resource problem-solving competition for high school students. In an outdoor setting students are tested in five natural resource areas: soils, wildlife, forestry, aquatics and a current national environmental issue. The 2007 current issue is alternative energy.

This is the largest environmental education program in North America involving more than 500,000 students from 43 states and 8 provinces. Envirothon is sponsored on a national level by Canon.
