    Pruning Apple Trees

    Sat, Mar 31, 2018 from 9:00 am - noon
Location: Twin Springs Farm in Union
    Fee: $15 per person

Learn the pruning techniques needed to keep your trees productive from Cheryl Denz, owner and operator of Terra Optima Farm and Landscaping in Appleton! Whether you have a small home orchard or one old tree that feeds the deer, this workshop will teach you the basic pruning techniques needed to keep your trees alive - and bearing fruit.

If you have pruning tools at home - pruners, saw, loppers - please bring them with you. If not, there will be tools available for use at the workshop. Please remember to wear appropriate footwear for the weather and ground conditions. We respectfully request that you leave your pets at home.

This workshop is presented by the Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District and will be lead by Cheryl Denz. Cheryl has been pruning apple trees professionally in Maine and beyond for nearly 30 years. She has conducted these workshops privately and through the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, as well as for nursery centers and garden club events.

To register for this event, complete the following form or contact Cat at 596-2040 or cathrine@knox-lincoln.org. Participants will be given directions to the workshop site when registering.
