    2019 Summer Ecology Camps at Merryspring!

    Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District and Merryspring Nature Center are again offering two, week-long Summer Ecology Camps.

    Camp sessions are held at Merryspring Nature Center at 30 Conway Road in Camden, ME and will be led by Rebecca Jacobs of Knox-Lincoln SWCD and Brett Willard of Merryspring Nature Center.

    Week 1

    Eco-Explorers

    Mon-Fri, July 8-12, 2019 New Date!
    8:45am - noon

    Ages 7-9

    $90 Merryspring members
    $100 non-members

    Week 2

    Little Sprouts

    Mon-Fri, July 15 -19, 2019
    9:00 - 11:30 am

    Ages 4-6

    $70 Merryspring members
    $80 non-members

     

    Eco-Explorers: July 8-12, 2019 from 8:45am to noon (New Date!)

    Eco-Explorers is a half-day program designed for children ages 7-9. During the week-long program, campers will receive an introduction to natural resources, ecology, and wildlife through games, hands-on learning activities, nature hikes, nature observation, and gardening.

    Snacks and water will be provided. Participating children should be prepared for weather, insects, allergies, and being outside.

       

    Little Sprouts: July 15-19, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am        

    The second session of Ecology Camp is two-&-one-half hours and designed for children ages 4-6. During the weeklong program, children will receive an introduction to natural resources, ecology, and wildlife through games, hands-on learning activities, nature hikes, nature observation, and gardening.

    Snacks and water will be provided. Participating children should be prepared for weather, insects, allergies, and being outside.

    There are a limited number of need-based scholarships available.
